Blue Car Drags Motorcycle With Sparks on Delhi Road; Driver Stopped by Passersby
A blue car dragged a motorcycle with sparks on Africa Avenue Road in Delhi’s RK Puram on September 17. The rider escaped serious injury, while police charged the driver with rash driving.
The incident took place at around 10 p.m. on Africa Avenue Road in RK Puram, South West Delhi. The motorcycle rider, 21-year-old Tanish Tokas, fell off during the crash but did not suffer serious injuries.
The 73-year-old driver, Venu Gopal of Vasant Kunj, continued driving the car after the incident. Passersby chased the vehicle and eventually stopped it.
Delhi Police subsequently filed charges for rash driving and seized the vehicle. Police also confirmed that alcohol was not involved in the incident.
